National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2026 runs September 13 to 19. The big truck stop chains use the week to hand back a little of what drivers spend, with free drinks, free food, and other deals for the people who keep freight moving.

Most of the offers live inside each chain’s app, so knowing what is on before you pull in saves you the guesswork at the counter. The lineups fill out as the week gets closer, so it is worth a look in each app on the stops you already run.

Pilot Flying J brings back the Road Warrior contest

Pilot is running its Driver Appreciation Month deal again this year, and it is a little bigger than last time. Drivers get three free drinks and a free snack each week through September, claimed in the Pilot app at participating Pilot, Flying J, and One9 locations.

The standout this year is the return of Pilot’s Road Warrior contest. One professional driver wins a Kenworth W990 truck customized by the Diesel Brothers plus $50,000 in cash, and nominations run through September 18 on the Road Warrior entry form. The winner is announced in October.

Pilot is also handing out swag and free samples at select travel centers through the month. Drivers not yet signed up for Pro Driver Rewards can join free in the app to earn points on fuel alongside the deals.

RaceTrac gives out free food all month

RaceTrac is thanking professional drivers with free pizza, fountain drinks, and energy drinks, plus double rewards points on fuel. The perks run September 2 to 30, so the window stretches well past the official week.

Getting them takes two steps. Register in the RaceTrac Rewards app, then set your driver profile to semi-truck. The deals apply at RaceTrac Travel Center and Extended Diesel Offer stores, and the current lineup sits on RaceTrac’s driver appreciation page.

Circle K free drinks for Inner Circle members

Circle K has put free drinks in drivers’ hands during appreciation week the last couple of years, run through its free Inner Circle rewards program. The offer comes with a code drivers enter in the Circle K app, so the app is where to watch for this year’s version.

With Circle K stores on more corners than the big truck stop chains, the free drinks are easy to fold into stops you were making anyway. Joining Inner Circle is free and takes a minute.

Sheetz runs several deals for diesel customers

Sheetz is offering several deals for professional drivers this month, all through its My Sheetz Rewardz program. Bulk diesel exhaust fluid is down to $1.99 a gallon at the 55 locations that carry it, good through September 30 at the truck diesel dispensers.

High-flow diesel customers can pick up more on top of that:

  • A free commercial diesel hat at the 59 locations with high-flow truck diesel, through September 30 while supplies last. One per customer.
  • A free half-size sub with a high-flow diesel purchase. One per customer, extras not included.
  • One free made-to-order item or beverage after pumping 100 gallons, good through October 27, limited to one a day with some exclusions.

All of it takes a My Sheetz Rewardz account, which is free in the Sheetz app. To find a store that carries bulk DEF, use the Find a Sheetz locator and filter by bulk DEF.

Kwik Trip runs a fleet points sweepstakes

Kwik Trip is thanking drivers with a Truck Driver Appreciation Sweepstakes running all September. Thirty winners each take 50,000 Kwik Rewards Fleet points, worth about $500, with the drawing held around October 7. Each entrant can win once.

Entering is free. Any purchase on a registered Kwik Rewards Fleet account at a Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, or Stop-N-Go earns an entry, and there is a no-purchase mail-in option too.

The sweepstakes is open to drivers 18 and older in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Michigan, and you need a Kwik Rewards Fleet account to enter. If your lanes run through that stretch, the full rules and entry details are worth a read before the month ends.

Plan your route around the savings

Across these chains, drivers have plenty of locations to work with, so a little route planning turns free drinks and food into a real running total by the end of the week. The same habit that finds you a better backhaul can find you a free lunch, and planning your route around the stops that are giving something back costs nothing.

A week worth showing up for

Most of these offers run through September, but the free food, drinks, fuel add-ons, and prize drawings are a real thank-you for the miles behind you. Setting up the apps ahead of time is the difference between catching the deals and driving past them.

Truckstop’s Rockstars of the Road giveaway runs all week, with a swag bag drawing and daily prizes on Facebook and LinkedIn. Enter yourself if you are behind the wheel, or send it to another driver who has earned it.
