National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2025 Starts Now

Yesterday marked the beginning of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, and here at Truckstop, we’re excited to honor the incredible people who keep America moving. This annual celebration, which runs from September 14-20, 2025, is more than just a week on the calendar—it’s our chance as a nation to recognize the backbone of our economy and the unsung heroes of our highways.

Why National Truck Driver Appreciation Week Matters

Every year, professional truck drivers deliver more than 11 billion tons of freight across America. From the fresh produce in our grocery stores to the fuel in our gas tanks, and the packages on our doorsteps to the materials that build our homes—virtually everything we touch has been transported by a truck driver at some point in its journey to us.

Truck drivers spend weeks away from their families, navigate challenging weather conditions, manage tight delivery schedules, and shoulder enormous responsibility for the safety of their cargo and other drivers. They work around the clock to ensure that when we flip a switch, turn a key, or visit a store, everything we need is there waiting for us.

Our Heartfelt Appreciation

To every truck driver reading this: THANK YOU.

Thank you for the long nights and early mornings. Thank you for the birthdays and holidays spent on the road so families across America can celebrate together. Thank you for your professionalism, your dedication, and your unwavering commitment to safety.

At Truckstop, we see you. We know that you’re not just moving freight—you’re connecting communities, supporting businesses, and keeping America running.

We’re honored to serve an industry filled with such hardworking, dedicated professionals. Your expertise, reliability, and work ethic inspire us to build better tools and features that support your success.

Join Truckstop in Saying Thanks

This week, we encourage everyone to take a moment to thank a truck driver. Whether it’s a wave on the highway, a kind word at a truck stop, or sharing appreciation on social media, let’s make sure our professional drivers know how much they mean to our communities.

From all of us at Truckstop: Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! Here’s to the professionals who make America move—mile by mile, load by load, day by day.
