Truckstop.com and Verisk’s CargoNet Business Join Forces to Combat Cargo Theft

Truckstop has joined forces with Verisk’s CargoNet business to strengthen the fight against cargo theft in the trucking industry. Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) is a leading data analytics provider.

CargoNet hosts a national cargo theft database and manages an information-sharing system staffed by crime analysts and subject matter experts to expedite recovery support and mitigate fraud. By providing recovery support, deterrence measures, and coordinated, real-time communications between theft victims and law enforcement agents, CargoNet helps its members prevent cargo theft and improve their chances of recovering stolen goods.
