How will the carrier know they have a pending request to be tracked?
They will receive a push notification on their phone if they have the Truckstop Mobile app installed. If the app is not installed, they will receive a text message with a link to get started.
What if the driver won’t accept load tracking?
If you’ve sent a load track request and the driver hasn’t responded, we recommend you resend the invite.
When am I charged for tracking?
We charge when the load goes active (i.e. two hours prior to the scheduled pick up).
How accurate is the tracking? Can my driver distort their location?
We use GPS technology that can provide the exact location of your carrier within a one-mile radius. We also use anti-spoofing technology to ensure you always know exactly where your freight is.
When can I start tracking my carrier?
Tracking begins two hours before the scheduled pick-up time, just in case your carrier is early.
Will this integrate into my TMS?
How often can I see location updates?
The system will automatically pull data one time per hour or you can select the “locate my truck now” from the dashboard to see a real-time update.
Do you have any fees beyond the $1 per track?
Nope. The $1 is a flat rate and there are no hidden fees, unlike other load tracking services.
Will my carrier be charged anything?
Nope. The app is free to download and use.

Can the driver turn off the app while they’re being tracked?
Yes. The app will still provide their location via a feature called passive location management.
