The MDI for Total equipment decreased 8.7 points in the latest week to 28.1, a decrease of 23.6%. Compared to last year the MDI is up 12.3 points, or 77.7%. Over the last 4 weeks it has averaged a decrease of 2.3 points. According to the Market Outlook from FTR we should expect to see it average a decrease of 0.7 points over the next four weeks.
Total Rates: Down 2.7% from the previous week
Total equipment Rates posted on Truckstop.com decreased 2.7% in the latest week to $2.24. Compared to last year Rates are up 12.6%. According to the Market Outlook from FTR we should expect to see Rates average a decline of 0.5% per week over the next four weeks.
Load Availability: Decreased 32.4% from the previous week
Load Availability for Total equipment on Truckstop.com decreased 32.4 % in the latest week to an index value of 91.7. Compared to last year Availability is up 35.3%. Over the last 4 weeks Availability has averaged a decrease of 8.32%.
