Rate Analysis Release Notes: Major Uploading Update!

Here are the Highlights from Today’s Release:

New uploading tool: Upload as-is, no templates or editing in Excel!
We’re happy to announce the release of a powerful new way to easily and simply upload to Rate Analysis for two of our most popular features: running bulk analysis and uploading rate history. This update should save you a lot of time and allow you to focus on rating quickly and confidently!

The following steps will walk you through uploading using the new tool:

Map Data
To start a bulk upload, you will click the “bulk analysis” icon on the left navigation. As before, you will select a file to analyze. However, now you can upload any .csv or Excel file as is, without having to use a template or edit your file before uploading!

After you upload a file, you will be shown a new screen that asks you to name your upload, and map data, matching your columns to the available fields in Rate Analysis

Uploading Your Rate History
You can also use the speedy new upload tool to upload new rate data into your rate sources.

First find the updated “Rate History” tab in “Setup”. Now use this tab to upload and view your own rate history, or any other rate data you manage in Rate Analysis. As always, see your data uploads under “Past Uploads”.

The upload process is very similar to bulk, but you must choose what rate source to add these new rates to. Then use the same process as above in the bulk upload.
