Cloud Logistics Integrates with Truckstop.com’s RateMate Tool
September 11, 2017
Truckstop.com is pleased to announce a new integration with Cloud Logistics, a TMS provider simplifying supply chain software from shipper to carrier to customer. The new integration allows Cloud Logistics users to benchmark rates and view rate trends using Truckstop.com’s RateMate solution.
“Our TMS customers are avid users of our spot quote functionality (we saw a large spike in spot quote volume in the first half of 2017),” said David Landau, Executive Vice President, Cloud Logistics. “In order to maximize effective use of this functionality, planners need to have current and accurate market intelligence at their fingertips. RateMate provides that to them. By having lane-specific benchmark data integrated into the Workbench, planners can make the best decisions about their loads and save freight spend every day.”
RateMate is a spot market rate index that helps brokers calculate accurate rate quotes for carriers, in order to protect their margin. An indispensable negotiation tool, RateMate allows users to view posted and paid rates by equipment type, compare rates month-over-month, and view market demands for available trucks.
